Fireworks Galore

We bought a plethora of fireworks at phantom fireworks in ohio, lots of rockets, mortars, anti artillery tracking devices, you know, the usual. Other people in line with us were spending +1000 US dollars on heaps of other war material. We didn't get that crazy but there is always next year.

Stay tuned for video of our trunk filled with explosives and ready for action. (It should be posted tomorrow, wifi willing....)

Still no SONIC, or JACK IN THE BOX. Oh Well.

Finally made it to Chicago after 11 hours of sun-drenched Driving

Well... we finally made it to our suite at the Club Quarters Central Loop Hotel, in downtown Chicago, in the 'Loop' as it is known, within walking distance to all of the major shops, galleries, hoodlums, etc. Too bad we are too tired to take in any of the sights, we will be stopping back on Friday night after the fourth of July to spend a little more time and money here. Pictures will be coming soon, but here is my camera phone pic of the pub in the lobby of our hotel:

Videos and other better pictures will be uploaded as soon as I get the sdcard transfer usb from the car.

A Preliminary 'Have to Do' and 'Have to Buy' List

Ok, why are there advertisements on the tv here in Baltimore for fast food that is not within 100 miles of here?

First on the list to see (or eat) is JACK IN THE BOX.

If no JACK IN THE BOX exists on the way to Minnesota, then it is definitely a milkshake from SONIC.

Though you may think I am low brow for posting about fast food, I am merely trying to do my part and keep this consumerist economy going on its crazy, glorious course, and hopefully our road trip emulates that course.

OH YEAH, and we have to get a lot of fireworks and set them off at night from the convertible while driving down the deserted lost streets of minnesota.... because common law states that anything goes regarding fireworks as long as the 4th of july is within 7 days.

Getting Ready to Leave Tomorrow

To start things off on this trip I have been trying to setup this website and pack.
